DMCA Policy

Last updated: June 1, 2026

NullScene respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. This policy describes how we act on copyright takedown notices and how we handle counter-notices.

1. Acting on your behalf

When you protect content with NullScene, you authorize us to act as your agent in submitting Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) notices and equivalent requests to hosts, content delivery networks, registrars, and search engines.

Each notice we file on your behalf includes the elements required by law, including identification of the work, the infringing location, and the required good-faith and accuracy statements.

2. What a valid notice contains

Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.

Identification of the infringing material and information sufficient to locate it.

Your contact information, a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized, and a statement that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act.

3. Counter-notices

If a party believes their content was removed in error, they may submit a counter-notice. We review counter-notices, keep you informed, and escalate disputes appropriately, including to legal partners where applicable.

4. Repeat infringers

We support the removal of content from services that, in appropriate circumstances, terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

5. Good-faith use

Submitting false or bad-faith takedown requests may carry legal consequences. NullScene only files notices for content you are authorized to protect, and you agree not to misuse the service.
